Chitrakonda: On 19.08. 2022 Chitrakonda PS team led by SI Bighna Kishor Dal along with PS staff were conducting evening patrolling duty and checking of suspected vehicles in village Tunnel Camp and Mantriput areas. They noticed one Silver color Maruti Swift Dezire Car having regd No.OD-10-J-6221 with six nos. of plastic jerry bags inside the Car and and motorcycle were coming from RSC-03 village side. Police party tried to stop the Car & M/C.Seeing the police party the rider of the Car & M/C, left vehicles there and ran into the jungle and tried to escape from there. The police party could manage to apprehend them.On further verification it found that they had kept 133 kgs and 500 grms of Ganja and were trying to export this ganga to Raipur(C.G) without any license or authority first for gain and in this connection Chitrakonda PS case no- 103/22 has been registered and investigated into.

Paul of Vill-Nandagiri Nagar Near Krishna Temple PS-Akkayyapalem Dis-Vishakapatnam (A.P) and 3.Rabi Khara (21) S/o-Dhanurjaya Khara of Village-MV-111 GP-Sindhrimalo, Panchabati PS-Malkangiri Dist-Malkangiri) have been arrested on 20.08.22 at 08.10 AM and forwarded on Today.
Involvement of other accd persons are likely to be established and will be forwarded accordingly.
