Recently a large number of Militia and Maoist supporters of Bhajaguda, Biseiguda, Khalguda, Patraput, Ondeipadar, Sindhiput villages of Andrahal GP of Malkangiri district and kusumput, Matamput, Jodigama, Sindhiput villages of Rangabalayu GP of Alluri Sitaramaju District of Andhra pradesh surrendered before Odisha Police and BSF in the presence of DIG SWR. In contributiojn to that, information about the activities and movement of the maoists in the tri-junction area of Koraput, Malkangiri districts of Odisha and Alluri Sitaram Raju district of Andhra Pradesh are being recieved.
In the background, based upon reliable information on dated 20.09.2022,01 team of SOG & DVF Koraput had conducted Anti Naxal Operation in the forest area of Hanumal, Sindhiput, Ondeipadar, Andhral, Mudulipada under Machhkund PS of Koraput and Mudulipada PS of Malkangiri District. On 21.09.2022, the operation party recovered an Explosive dump in the forest area near village Sindhiput of Andrahal GP bordering Rangabayalu GP of Alluri Sitaram Raju distrcit of Andhra Pradesh.
