On 15.10.2022 at 10.10 PM Chitrakonda PS team led by SI Bijay Kumar Majhi along with PS staff were conducting night patrolling duty at Mantriput, Spill way and Tunnel camp areas. During patrolling at 10.50 PM they noticed one Silver colour Huyndai verna car having regd No.AP 11 AD 6366 with four nos. of plastic jerry bags inside the Car and dicky were coming from Poplur village side. Police party tried to stop the Car .Seeing the police party the driver of the Car and another person in the car left vehicle there and ran into the jungle and tried to escape from there. The police party could manage to apprehend them.On further verification it found that they had kept 109 kgs and 100 grms of Ganja and were trying to export said ganga to AP areas without any license or authority for gain and in this connection Chitrakonda PS case no- 140/22 has been registered and investigated into.

(1) Balaram Dhadia(23) S/o- Chaitan Dhadia of Village- Mantriput PS – Chitrakonda Dist-Malkangiri and (2) Kora Manayar (30) S/o-Kora Niranjan of Vill- Donkrai Hospital Line PS- Donkrai Dist- Alluri Sitharama Raju (A.P) have been arrested on 16.10.22 at 09.30 PM and forwarded on Today.
Involvement of other accd persons are likely to be established and will be forwarded accordingly.
