Bhubaneswar, Aug. 31: Students of 2023 batch at the SOA National Institute of Law (SNIL), faculty of legal studies of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University here, received their degrees at a special graduation ceremony on Thursday.
Students who had completed the LLM, LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and BA LLB (Hons) courses received their certificates from SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda.
Prof. Nanda, who administered the oath to the graduating students, urged them to serve the society with dedication and commitment.
Prof. Nanda said that SNIL had been ranked 8th best law school in the country by NIRF while the university was placed 15th nationally.
He said the legal profession was no longer limited to the court rooms and had pervaded several spheres providing them ample opportunity to serve the people.
Senior professor Prabir Kumar Patnaik welcomed the students while Dean of the institute Prof. S.A.K. Azad presented the report.
SOA Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Sitikantha Mishra, Controller of Examination Prof. Manjula Das, Dean (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, senior professor Madhusudan Das and faculty members were present.
