CHITRAKONDA: On 22.08. 2022 Chitrakonda PS team led by SI Bijay Kumar Majhi along with PS staff were performing MV checking at Chitrakonda Naka Check Post, they found one OSRTC bus bearing No-OD 02 BC 9417 traveling towards Malkangiri with passengers. PS staff entered into the bus for checking of suspended materials Seeing police patry two passengers got down from the bus with their bags and started running towards the nearby jungle but police team could able to appd them. .On further verification it found that they had kept 13 kgs and 700 grms of Ganja and they have purchased ganga from Bangurupada and Angariaguda village and they were taking this ganga to deliver in Sukma(C.G) without any license or authority for gain and in this connection Chitrakonda PS case no- 105/22 has been registered and investigated into.
Accd persons:-
1.) Naresh Kirtania (60) S/o-Lt Haripada Kirtania of Village-MV-10 and 2) Ratan Mistry (27) S/o-Tarak Mistry of Vill-MV-44, both are of PS/Dist -Malkangiri They have been arrested on 22.08.22 at 06.00 PM and forwarded on Today.
Involvement of other accd persons are likely to be established and will be forwarded accordingly.
