Bhubaneswar, Sept. 29: Students who had completed their education in B.Sc Agriculture (Hons) and M.Sc Agriculture from Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) between 2020 and 2022 were presented their certificates at a special graduation ceremony held in the campus on Thursday.
B.Sc. Agriculure (Hons) students of the 2020, 2021and 2022 batches and M.Sc. Agriculture students of 2021 and 2022 batches, having completed their courses at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, SOA’s faculty of agricultural sciences, were presented their credentials at the program chaired by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda.
The students had not received their certificates because no graduation ceremony could be held during the years because of the pandemic.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nanda, who administered the oath to the graduating students, said they had encountered difficult times because of the pandemic but had completed their education in an adverse atmosphere.
Prof. Sitikantha Mishra, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Manjula Das, Controller of Examination, Prof. Santosh Kumar Rout, Dean of IAS, Prof. Bijoy Kumar Sahoo, Advisor of IAS, Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, Dean (Students’ Welfare), members of the Academic Council and faculty members were present.
