PNB GIFTS VENTILATOR, ICU BEDS TO SUM HOSPITAL UNDER CSR INITIATIVE

Bhubaneswar, Jan. 23: As part of its CSR initiative, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has gifted a multipurpose ventilator and six motorized ICU beds to the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital here.

            Mr. Atul Kumar Goel, PNB’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, handed over the ventilator and beds to Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak, Founder President of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) in the presence of the bank’s Zonal Manager Mr. A.Uday Bhaskar Reddy and Circle Head Mr. Laxmikanta Mishra in the hospital on Tuesday.

            The bank also gifted six over bed tables and an equal number of bedside lockers to the hospital. All these equipments will be used in the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) department of the hospital.

            Prof. (Dr.) Pusparaj Samantasinhar, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, SOA’s Dean (Students’ Welfare), Dr. Debasish Sahu, Head, Department of CTVS, Dr. Sushanta Bhoi, Anesthesiologist and Mr. Saroj Kumar Samal, Chartered Accountant, were also present.
