Bhubaneswar, March 30: ‘Amity 2024’, the two-day cultural festival of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPS), faculty of pharmaceutical sciences of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA), concluded on Saturday.
The program was inaugurated on Friday with former state Drugs Controller, Dr. Nilamadhab Dash urging the students to keep track of opportunities for pharmacists in the field of Medical Device Monitoring and Pharmacovigilance. He also advised them to work for humanity and take interest in literary pursuits simultaneously.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. Sudam Chandra Si, Dean of SPS, which was also addressed by litterateur Ms. Mamata Dash who was the chief speaker. Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, Dean (Students’ Welfare) of SOA, attended as the guest of honour.
The institute’s annual magazine ‘Aaron-2024’ was also released on the occasion. Winners of various competitions and participants of the cultural program were felicitated on the occasion.
The program was conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Laxmidhar Maharana, professor in the institute. The highlight of the concluding day was a star night event.
