On 03.07 2022 night Chitrakonda PS team led by SI Bighna Kishore Dal was conducting night patrolling duty and checking of suspected vehicles in village Mantriput, Tunnel Camp, Dyke-III, Dyke-11 Nakamamudi and Nuaguda areas. They noticed one person was standing on the road side about 600 mtrs from Nakamamudi village road keeping with five nos of plastic bags. Seeing the police party he ran into the jungle and tried to escape from there. The police party managed to apprehend him.On further verification it found that he had kept 119 kgs and 100 grms of Ganja and were trying to export this to Sileru area of Andhra Pradesh without any license or authority and in this regard Chitrakonda PS case no. 80/22 has been registered and investigated into.Accd peraonShyam Khara (28) s/o- Gupta Khara Vill -Nuaguda PS-Chitrakonda Dist – Malkangiri and have been arrested on 04.07..22 at 09.15 AM and to be forwarded on Today.Involvement of other accd persons are likely to be established and will be forward accordingly.
