Chitrakonda: On 14.09.2022 Chitrakonda PS staff led by SI Bijay Kumar Majhi were performing blocking duty, MV checking and verification of luggage of suspected vehicles at the main raod of Mantriput, Tunnel camp and Spillbye and at about 11.20 AM they detained one Hero Glamour M/C without number plate with two persons in the M/C. Being asked they disclosed that they were escorting one Bolero loaded with ganga which was comming back to them. Mean while one white colour Bolero bearing regd No-MH 12 SQ 5273 came in a high speed and police team could detain the Bolero. Seeing police party driver of the bolero and another person sitting in the bolero started running towards the jungle but police party could able to appd them. During search they found four nos of jerry packets contains ganga of net weight 104 kg 500 gms. Being asked they disclosed that they have procured said ganga from Poplur side and to transport to Maharastra side for selling purpose In this regard Chitrakonda PS case No -118/2022 has been registered. Accused person 1) Sibamani Sankham(20) S/o- Welsava Sankham, 2) Dhanraj Puplu(21) s/o- Ramaya Pupulu both are of vill- Poplur PS-Kalimela Dist -Malkangiri 3) Munna Innus Seikh (32) s/o-Innus Seikh of vill-Deolali and 4) Chhagan Bapu Sindhe (33) s/o-Bapu Sriranga Sindhe of vill-Korti both are of PS-Karmala Dist -Solapur (Maharastra ) have been arrested on 14.09.2022 and forwarded to court on Today.
