24 KG AND 400 GMS OF GANJA SEIZED

On 12.11.2022 night Chitrakonda PS staff led by SI Sarbeswar Bhoi were performing night patrolling,blocking duty,and verification of luggage on suspected vehicles at the main raod of spill way, Mantriput, Tunnel camp,Gunthawada, RSC-9,RSC-10,Kankriapada and nearby areas at 12.15AM dtd 13.11.2022 they detained one Hero HF Deluxe M/C having regd No-AP 39 ME 7954 with two persons in the M/C. Seeing police party rider of the M/C and pilion started running towards the jungle but police party could able to appd them. During search they found one no. of jerry packets contains ganja of net weight 24 kg 400 gms. Being asked they disclosed that they have procured said ganja from Poplur side and to transport to AP areas for selling purpose in high profit. In this regard Chitrakonda PS case No -155/2022 U/s-20(b)(ii)(C) NDPS Act. has been registered. Accused persons 1) Nidhi Khilla (25) S/o-Dabulu Khilla Village/GP-Nuaguda PS-Chitrakonda Dist- Malkangiri 2).Gangadhar Bankia (30)S/o-Jaya Bankia of Village-Disariguda GP-Gunthawada PS-Chitrakonda Dist-Malkangiri
have been arrested on 13.11.2022. at 09.30 AM and forwarded to court on Today and involvement of other accd parsons are likely to be ascertained.
