Today i. e. on 7-7-22 at about 11.40 AM ,Sri Narayan Pattnaik, Supervisor, Khadi Village Board Industries, O/o DIC , Puri has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe Rs.15000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) in his office from a Complainant (owner of a bell metal processing unit) of Puri district for facilitating release of subsidy amount Rs. 2,45,000/- in digital mode in his favour. The entire bribe amount has been recovered from Sri Pattnaik and seized.
In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS Case no 17/2022 u/s 7 PC(Amendment) Act-2018 has been registered. Investigation in progress against accused Sri Pattnaik. Detailed report follows.
